Aufschwung

(Single Release 17.04. Label: DRAN) On April 17, DELTAWELLE released their new single “Aufschwung” — a hypnotic trip between escapism, euphoria, and an inner flicker. The release has been celebrated at the Junction Bar in Berlin. “I’m experiencing an upsurge / It’s coming from somewhere” — the track pulses between controlled madness and shimmering lightness. Driving synths, repetitive mantras, and a feeling suspended somewhere between escape and release. The Berlin/Leipzig-based band combines danceable synth drive with raw post-punk attitude. Inspired by Grauzone, Die Sterne, and Ideal, this is not retro revivalism but a distinct, forward-looking pull. With their second album “Wir sind Staub im Kosmos” (release: June 5, 2026), DELTAWELLE further expand their sound: atmospheric, minimal, direct — music like a film you can dance to. Shaped by their February tour through Prague, Brno, Vienna, Dresden, and Leipzig, their live sound has grown more refined and focused.
