Berlin/Leipzig – DELTAWELLE combine danceable synth-driven momentum with shimmering melancholy and controlled madness. Blending post-punk, new wave and indie electronics, the band creates a sound that feels raw, trippy and distinctive – inspired by Grauzone, Die Sterne and Ideal, yet without looking back nostalgically. Instead, they deliver futuristic soundscapes, hypnotic rhythms and songs full of movement.

With their second album “Wir sind Staub im Kosmos” (2026), DELTAWELLE further refine this approach. The singles “Wir sind Staub im Kosmos” and “Wenn das die Realität ist” were selected for Tonspion’s Top Tracks 2025 and Top Tracks 2026 respectively. The Leipzig cultural magazine Kreuzer described the album as “a pleasantly psychedelic, shimmering trip through the ether” and concluded: “Listening to Deltawelle doesn’t drain your energy – it gives you energy.”
